Join United States Secretary of Labor Perez and local leaders for the first Regional Worker Voice Summit. Regional Summits are focused on bringing together seasoned and emerging leaders from across the country who are lifting up workers’ voices to be active participants in this conversation.
On October 7th, 2015, the White House and the Department of Labor brought together workers, labor leaders, advocates, businesses, Members of Congress, state and local officials and others to highlight the relationship between worker voice and a thriving middle class. The Summit provided an historic opportunity to explore the ways we can ensure middle-class Americans are sharing in the benefits of the economic growth they are helping to create. During the Summit, President Obama charged us with taking action and continuing the conversation, particularly in communities that are leading with innovative efforts to elevate worker voice.
Space is limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
