December 8th: National Day of Action for Unemployment Insurance Extension

In late December, the federal unemployment insurance fund will run out of money. Congress has never cut back on federally funded unemployment insurance when unemployment has been this high for this long. This time, though, it might just happen. Thousands of Minnesotans are in real danger of losing the one thing keeping their family above water. But, instead of supporting middle class families hit hardest by the bad economy, Representatives Paulsen and Cravaack choose to support the richest 1%. Take action on December 8th by attending an event in Eden Prairie, Duluth or Brainerd to tell Congress that it's time to put partisanship aside and take urgent action to renew emergency unemployment now!
