The Nellie Stone Johnson Scholarship Program will celebrate 30 years of helping students reach their dreams at its annual dinner on Thursday, March 23rd at 5:30 p.m.
Dr. Josie R. Johnson, African American Educator and activist, is the keynote speaker for the evening. Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Chancellor Steven Rosenstone and Minnesota AFL-CIO President William McCarthy will be presenting students with their scholarships.
Scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,200 are given each year to students of color who are union members or from union households enrolled in a two year, undergraduate, or graduate program at a Minnesota State Colleges and Universities campus.
The Nellie Stone Johnson Scholarship Program is funded from private sources, including alumni, labor unions, company foundations, friends, and other supporters.

Ticket prices are $70/individual or $525 per table of eight.
