February 23--Minnesota Nurses Association held their Day on the Hill today at the Capitol today. A noontime rally to drum up support to restore GAMC filled the Rotunda while they listened to speakers.
Nurses rallied then prepared to meet with their legislators to advocate for GAMC, patient safety, nurse licensure, and the MN Health Plan.
Nurses have consistently brought to light critical issues about nurse staffing and patient safety. Nurse voices will continue to be important as the debate emerges on how to address these issues while balancing the budget.
