2016 Precinct Caucus Information

Minnesota’s Precinct Caucuses are Tuesday, March 1. We’ve put together some frequently asked questions and sample resolutions to help you show your support for working families.

Who can participate in the precinct caucus?

You can participate if you are likely to support the party’s candidates and will be eligible to vote on General Election Day, November 8.

What if I do not know my precinct or don’t know my caucus will be?

Caucus locations are available at caucusfinder.sos.state.mn.us

What happens at the precinct caucus:

·      Party Platform Resolutions.  Help begin writing the party platform by offering resolutions, especially those to support working families.

·      Elect or run for delegate to endorsing conventions.  Each precinct elects delegates to party endorsing conventions.

·      Elect local party leadership.  Elect your precinct leaders.

·      Presidential Preference Ballot. Vote for who you want your party’s presidential candidate to be.
