Roughly 50 people gathered on the steps of the St. Louis County building on Wednesday to call on Governor Pawlenty to reinstate funding for General Assistance Medical Care. Speakers included GAMC recipient Trixie , Registered Nurse and MNA member Mary Beth Boyton, St. Louis County Commissioner Steve O'Neil, and Duluth Mayor Don Ness. The event was emceed by Duluth Central Labor Body President Dan O'Neill.
