When the House of Representatives passed the Affordable Health Care for America Act, late Saturday night, four Minnesota Congress people stood with working families.
Minnesota AFL-CIO President Shar Knutson, citing the 220-215 vote by which the bill passed, said, “Union members in four Minnesota Congressional Districts can be proud that their representatives voted to move us closer to health care reform than we have been in the last 60 years."
"The struggle over health care for all Americans has been long and difficult," Knutson said. "Minnesota's union members want to thank the Congress people who stood with us on this important vote--and we will honor their courage by continuing to stand with them."
