The Women’s Economic Security Act is a historic piece of legislation that will lift up working women and families to create better lives for countless people in Minnesota.

We would like to invite you to listen to a panel discussion on WESA will mean for working women and families in Minnesota. The panel will feature authors of the bill as well as labor lobbyists and community allies.

The Minnesota Women’s Consortium is our co-host for this event. This event is open to union women and women who support this law. We will serve light sandwiches and fare along with beverages and wine. Participants must rsvp through an electronic invite found here:

The Minnesota AFL-CIO’s Women in Leadership program began in 2012 to educate, empower and embolden union women to take leadership roles within their unions, communities and government to support working families issues.

We will do this through programming that supports networking, linking people to educational and training opportunities, and advocating for public policies that support working families and feminist issues, gender equality in all its forms.
